From the top of an old cupboard in what I'm calling my art room. I choose not to call it a studio because I don't think I'll be doing much of the actual art here. I am storing supplies and hope to find inspiration, dreams, a place to relax and think.

My apologies for not being with you in your own blogs, dreams. I've been doing humungous job of cleaning our basement. I'll share more of that in days future.
We are going to farm for couple of days. I face more cleaning there as my folks are selling their house in the City as they've been primarily living at the farm now.

Our weather has FINALLY warmed up. PHEW! And the sun is actually shining. Though the clouds are again wending their way in.
Hopefully our daughter will also start making better choices again. :-)

Nearly forgot to mention that I had started a journal page for Valentine's day. Ah, and then teenager decided to, welllll, anyway.

A number of videos are in the plans. One needs only a tiny bit of tuning up. Next week :-) If you want to keep an eye on what's happening at my youtube and see what my faves are you can find them here.
I'll get that link up shortly also.

Angels be with you,
Wendy

BOLD - friend laughter

I have chosen this image for the theme of BOLD at Inspire me Thursday. Rightly you should wonder at the relationship between laughter and boldness. Let me relate a story

Once upon a time there was a young lady named Adah ~ so much around her she saw darkness, sadness. The darkness and sadness seemed to consume her though she longed for joy. Louka Hannah was her dear, dear friend, full of mystery, full of grace and love. Etain too was very near ~ always shining, always full of life, creation.

Adah longed for yet more closeness with Louka Hannah and Etain. She longed to step away from the times when she pulled herself into the dark corners of her closet when the sadness seemed to overtake her. With her own creative spirit she edged further and further away from that darkness. She crept slowly toward that place where light and darkness blend.
One day, as her grace was shining through, Adah realized the error of her ways. The tub being drawn for a bath, had waited ~ forgotten. The inundation accosted her eyes. Louka Hannah, Etain and Adah, burst together in laughter.

I want very much to thank Elena (E.B.) for her recognition of my ability to shine. I want to thank the fae child Helenina for her random acts of kindness. I want to thank Mademoiselle Helenina for sharing her writing of Etain, Adah, Louka Hannah and Everdeene (also part of me) through pictures and prose.

Friday Finds: This week - well, I tried to flow through the challenges. It was a little bit tough. I'm glad I decided to reward myself with not just one, but two inspirational magazines this week.
I get apprehensive about going to see the eye specialist after 46 years with diabetes. Then I wait for about an hour to actually have the appointment.
"Look straight ahead.
Look to the right.
Look to the left.
Look down at my necktie."
Moves to the left eye,
"Look straight ahead.
Look to the right.
Look to the left.
Look down at my necktie."
"Everything looks not too bad. Come back in two years."
I breathe.
And then there are the meetings - much clenching of jaws with those.
I made it through the most difficult parts - of the week. The phone rings. It's the school principal. We need a letter from Cat's psychiatrist if she is to continue with the same school program next year. We saw the psychiatrist four years ago. She barely had time to write
anything for the school then. We were fortunate to see her after a few months of waiting. Some people waited a couple of years.
"You have till the end of the summer", says the principal.
"Flow through the challenges Wendy".

Have a great weekend and angels be with you.
