The weather AND my almost ready to dance in art room:
I am practically humming with excitement, even though we are having bitterly cold weather. The windchills are something like -49 degrees C which is, I believe, about -58 degrees F. I haven't stepped out yet. Might still take the dog for a few steps down the back lane (alley) ;-)
Have you found that in order to organize many diverse pieces you must first separate all the pieces? That's the stage I'm at now with all my papers. YUCK. Just so there's a space to walk through to get to my art space. I am getting so close though. I can almost feel the excitement. I have made a deal with self to not do any more art until... Oh YES! I can hardly wait. Weeelll - I have started another video. I can't complete it though until the space is ready to launch. I need to do some taping on the turquoise blue bedspread in that room.
In the meantime here are some videos I've been trying to cheer myself with.
Angels be with you,
Wendy

Autumn - As the seasons change, I wend my way through the past forty some years and struggle to be rid of all the garbage in my body, and soul. Some days are filled with glory in that wending. Other days I kind of feel like I've been run over by a truck. In the last few the wending has been more tough again. I think I'm getting much closer the true joyous me. So I'll say. Whilst I've been wending I've been asked to laugh more, cry less. On Sunday night I was reminded of that by a dear friend. Yesterday my daughter reminded me. Today I am mostly at self in the solitude I love. BUT, my mind keeps rolling back to the tears and tense. Any tickles you can send - great joy.

I have chosen this image for the theme of BOLD at Inspire me Thursday. Rightly you should wonder at the relationship between laughter and boldness. Let me relate a story
Once upon a time there was a young lady named Adah ~ so much around her she saw darkness, sadness. The darkness and sadness seemed to consume her though she longed for joy. Louka Hannah was her dear, dear friend, full of mystery, full of grace and love. Etain too was very near ~ always shining, always full of life, creation.
Adah longed for yet more closeness with Louka Hannah and Etain. She longed to step away from the times when she pulled herself into the dark corners of her closet when the sadness seemed to overtake her. With her own creative spirit she edged further and further away from that darkness. She crept slowly toward that place where light and darkness blend.
One day, as her grace was shining through, Adah realized the error of her ways. The tub being drawn for a bath, had waited ~ forgotten. The inundation accosted her eyes. Louka Hannah, Etain and Adah, burst together in laughter.
I want very much to thank Elena (E.B.) for her recognition of my ability to shine. I want to thank the fae child Helenina for her random acts of kindness. I want to thank Mademoiselle Helenina for sharing her writing of Etain, Adah, Louka Hannah and Everdeene (also part of me) through pictures and prose.

Laughter - the best medicine. The theme for this week's photo Thursday, part of Create a Connection, is laughter.
I love laughter. I wish I could do it more often. These are photos of our daughter (Cat) when she was younger, at least 10 years younger. She loved to make people laugh and to be entertaining. Now it takes an effort to laugh with teenage her. Of course she hates being laughed at.
I love being tickled, unless I'm feeling really low. I love watching "funny" on the television or at the theatre. I think one of my faves from a time back was Victor Borge. My entire family particularly liked when he switched the next number. Instead of wonderful, something was twoderful and so on. I think my dad has a video. We should view that again sometime.
Thanks for (five) this choice. It makes me happy just thinking about it.
tickles for(five) all.
